I was born in Oklahoma City. I have always been interested in art. During high school I earned a full scholarship to study art at Oklahoma Baptist University; which I attended for 3 years until setting out to become a tattoo artist in 1998.
In 2002 I met a man who built custom tattoo machines. He took me under his wing and taught me the art of tattoo machine building. Now, after learning the craft I build tattoo machines for other tattoo artists around the world. At all the shops I have worked at there has never been an artist who did not eventually start using my wares.
It gives me a deep feeling of respect and dignity to know that not only do I mark people for life; but that so many professional tattoo artists rely on equipment that I have built with my own hands.
I specialize in custom tattoos. I love to draw and to tattoo completely different custom artwork on each of my clients. I think it makes a tattoo that much more personal and meaningful. I have a great process of sitting down with someone and picking their brain until we come up with a completely unique image for their tattoo. I try to stay versatile in the styles of work I do, ranging from realism and portraits, to bold new skool or traditional, although I have the most fun with New Skool style tattoos. I take every tattoo I do very seriously, I realize it is a lifetime commitment, and I feel honored and privileged when someone chooses me to tattoo them.
I am also available to be commissioned for paintings, custom airbrushing, commercial design, illustration, and the occasional t-shirt. Thank you for checking out my work and my life, enjoy the site and have a great day. |
